01.    Traduza o diálogo acima.

Sam: Quantas pessoas estão vindo?

Claire: Eu não sei exatamente. Se houver mais de doze convidados, teremos que fazê-lo ao ar livre.

Sam: Você acha que as bebidas chegarão a tempo?

Claire: Se elas não chegarem a tempo, pediremos ao Mike para buscá-los.

Sam: Alguém é vegetariano?

Claire: Eu acho que não, mas se alguém é vegetariano, teremos que pedir comida vegetariana.

Reflexive pronouns (Explicação)

Os reflexive pronouns apresentam casos específicos de uso, caso façamos a comparação com o uso em português, nossa língua materna, o que é uma prática muito comum ao estudarmos uma língua estrangeira. Embora essa seja uma estratégia eficiente, nem sempre somos bem-sucedidos nela, porque cada língua apresenta peculiaridades no tratamento gramatical.

Nos tópicos seguintes, exploraremos quais são os pronomes reflexivos e o uso deles em cada situação.

Quais são os reflexive pronouns?

 

Os pronomes reflexivos concordam em número e gênero com a pessoa. Eles são formados por my, your, him, her, it, our, your, them + self/selves.
